A Special New Fitness Yoga Program That Won't Hurt Your Joints

I've been searching for years for an exercise program that I could recommend to my overweight readers. I knew it would need to be a low-impact program that didn't take much time and that you can do at home - without gym fees and without hiring a personal trainer.

And most importantly, it had to be easy on the knees and other joints.

I finally found a program I can recommend. It's called the "Runner's Yoga" program, but it's definitely not just for runners.

(I do the 30 minute workouts myself, and I've never been a runner - and I'm not going to start now, since I've just turned 59 years old.)

If you ever bought exercise videos and then discovered that you couldn't use them because the exercises were too strenuous or the workouts caused you too much pain, this is the perfect program for you.

Unfortunately, people who are overweight (or who have been overweight in the past) rarely get enough exercise.

No, it isn't because of laziness - it's because most exercise programs take too much time, they require expensive gym fees, or they just plain hurt.

Van Clayton Powel, RPN, who developed this program, explains that up to 70% of runners suffer from injuries because of the intense impact as their feet hit the ground. He says that a 130-pound runner has to absorb the impact of over 600,000 pounds of force every mile.

I did some research online and discovered that an overweight person can suffer from the same damaging impact - just from walking!

That's why overweight and obese people have so many knee and joint injuries, and receive so many knee replacements.

And most aerobic exercise programs can actually  make the pain and injuries worse.

If you've been overweight for any length of time, you may already have some joint injuries that could be made worse by the wrong fitness program.

That's why I bought the program this first week it came out, and I'm very excited about it.

The special type of yoga that is taught in this course:

  • Strengthens and tones every major muscle in the body.
  • The flowing series of dynamic stretches creates an internal heat that makes stretching safer and more effective.
  • It's powerful breathing technique increases respiratory capacity, melting away stress and improving focus all at the same time.
  • And it has the intensity of a real sport or martial art, but instead of injuring your joints, it can rapidly heal them.

You begin to notice improvement within two weeks of beginning the program.

It comes with detailed illustrated manuals and 6 video files that give you the same instructions that you would get if you hired your own personal trainer.

Once you understand exactly how to do each pose and breathe correctly, you listen to the audio file that comes with the program. It keeps you on the beat and helps you get through the entire exercise program in just 30 minutes. These exercises firm up your muscles, give you greater flexibility, and help calm the mind so you can concentrate better during the day.

And all without any pain at all. In fact, it can even help reduce pain if you now suffer from injured knees or joints.
